Like all hydrodynamic couplings, Fluidrive couplings excel by their extreme resistance to wear, as there is no mechanical connection between input and output shafts and power is transmitted by fluid. variabel speed fluif couplings provide infinitely variable speed regulation down to 20% speed. Energy savers in fan or pump drives by reducing losses compared to throttle control. They can also be utilised to perform clutchingVoith Turbo operations.
